After Clinton appointed Judge Susan Bolton ruled Wednesday that—for all intents and purposes—Arizona does not have the right to protect itself or its citizens from invading drug cartels and the illegal foreign hordes that are bleeding it dry of its resources, it should have become apparent to even the dimmest that We-the-People no longer exist. We are now living under a tyranny developed, directed, implemented and enforced by the Marxists in power.

Article II, Section I of The Constitution of the United States:  The Presidential Oath of Affirmation states “I do solemnly swear(or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”  Any federal law that has justly been approved and entered into the United States Code becomes part of the Law of the Land, the Constitution.  Therefore, the protection of our country, in any terms from protecting our borders to protecting our environment, is a direct obligation of the President of the United States.  Question:  When is the President of the United States of America guilty of violating the Law of the Land?  Answer:  when he willfully violates the Oath of Affirmation.

Glen was one of the first commentator to support Shirley Sherrod who outed from her job at USDA without justification for a speech she gave last spring to the NAACP referring to a white farmer looking for help. Her speech was taken out of context and no one from the government or NAACP investigated the release video before coming to conclusions.

The White House has launched a coordinated PR campaign to argue that it is not anti-business. That is a difficult argument to make when we look at the Administration’s record on energy. Time after time the Administration has acted to make it more difficult to produce energy domestically and they are actively seeking to make energy more expensive. This only makes an economic recovery more difficult.

Just how serious is our new President about dealing with terrorism?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks to Barack Obama, we now live in a country where you can do almost as much time in prison for brandishing a knife in a failed robbery as for attempting to murder three-hundred innocent men, women and children.

Don't believe me?  This past Christmas, a man in Sandy Creek, NY used a knife in an attempted robbery of a Chinese restaurant and, if convicted, he could face up to twenty-five years in the grey bar motel.  On that same day, the now infamous underwear bomber, after failing to go boom, was mirandized and will likely face anywhere from twenty years to life in prison, (if convicted on all counts as opposed to getting off on an insane fashion defense).

What does it take for this administration to understand we can't fight a war with Miranda rights?  Does the next would-be assassin have to succeed?  Obviously not, as we're only a few months removed from the last one actually succeeding on an Army base in Texas.  Twelve dead bodies later and the first thing they tell the next terrorist is "you have the right to remain silent"?  Insanity.  Worse yet, he took their advice, especially after he got his court appointed attorney, courtesy of the US taxpayer.

Terrorists all over the world are getting night sweats worrying that they'll one day end up in a cozy American jail cell with cable TV and daily exercise rights.  ("Please don't make me watch Oprah again!  I'll do anything…")  Yeah, right.

Obama gave himself a "solid B-plus" for his job performance…but he seems to grade on a curve

Back in December, Oprah Winfrey interviewed Barack Obama and asked him what kind of grade he would give himself on his job performance.  "A good, solid B-plus", he answered.

Really?  Talk about grading on a curve.

Let's review some of the highlights and lowlights of Mr. Obama's freshman year.

Soon after taking office he managed to push his big stimulus program through Congress.  Then there were the bank bailouts (and the continuation of the Bush bailouts), and the TARP, and then the bailouts of automakers (and their unions).  He was on a roll.

He ordered the closing of the terrorist prison at Guantanamo Bay, but it's still open because they can't figure out how to do what he said he wanted to do without making the situation worse – which is exactly what everyone with common sense told him two years ago.

Then there was the move to grant civil and legal rights to terrorists, highlighted by his Justice Department's move to try 9-11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in civilian court – in New York of all places.  Add to that the prompt granting of Miranda rights to the Christmas Day underwear bomber after only fifty minutes of interrogation, only weeks after the murder of a dozen soldiers by a "home grown" jihadist at Fort Hood, Texas.  In the meantime he had his Attorney General move to reopen investigation into Bush era terrorist interrogations and intelligence techniques.

On the plus side (for him), he managed to get his first Supreme Court nominee through with little trouble, and unfortunately (for us), he'll probably have at least one more such opportunity before he leaves office.

He won a Nobel Peace prize, apparently for merely drawing breath (and exhaling words that made the European elites swoon).  In the end however it only highlighted his lack of achievement.  Rumors of a Heisman trophy for just watching a football game turned out to be unfounded.

The way the current United States administration has disregarded the constitution and the will of the American people, is there any point left in having a constitution? From the Bastion of Urban Renewal and Progress (BURP), here is a new, re-writing of the US Constituion.

For Making The Constitution More Compatible With The Modern Age

This proposal has been created and authorized by our organization, the Bastion of Urban Renewal and Progress (BURP).  This is a community organization which has its home office on the upper west side of Manhattan, and is dedicated to the betterment of humanity, the cleanliness of the earth and the causes of equality within and between all nations.

We here at our organization (BURP) have always considered the constitution a living and breathing document that should be updated periodically to reflect the changing needs of our community.  However, it has gotten more difficult over the years to take a document that was written in the 18th century and keep it contemporary.  Therefore, rather than amend the constitution, and continue to put tape and paper clips on an old and out-dated document, it is time for a complete re-writing of the constitution.  We will start here with the first 10 amendments known as the Bill of Rights.

President Obama has often been looked to as a prophet; an almost Godlike figure. So, it seems appropriate to see how the Old Testament would look if Obama had been a part of it…

In the beginning there was only Hillary.

And the Democrats were without form.

And there was corruption, and lying, and deceit, and intimidation.

And then the spirit of Obama came and moved upon the waters.

And Obama said Let there be hope and change.

And Obama saw the hope and change, and said that it was good.

And Obama said Let there be a stimulus plan.

But unto Obama and his plan, the people had not respect.

And Obama saw the wickedness among the people of the United States.

And Obama said unto the people of the United States 'Let my stimulus plan pass'.

And Obama gave money to banks, insurance companies and car companies and said that it was good.

But the hearts of the people were hardened.

And the people wanted to know why the unemployment rate was over 10%.

So Obama needed to speak to the Lord.

And he went to the special place where he could seek the counsel of the Lord.

And from the other side of the mirror, God spake unto Obama, saying, Go speak to your wife Michelle and tell her to speak to the children of the United States.

And Michelle went forth and spake unto the people of the United States, saying unto them,

Whatsoever containeth polyunsaturated fats, ye shall not eat.

All fast food, whether it cometh from dwellings with golden arches or from Kings, shall be an abomination unto you.

How exactly does the President plan to create his new Green Jobs Economy?

by Paul Driessen

America needs decisive leaders who understand what government can (and cannot) do to stop the Gulf gusher, clean up the mess, and get business, jobs and prosperity back on track. Instead, President Obama sounds like an anti-business Community Organizer in Chief – pointing fingers, making baseless claims about ending our “addiction to oil,” and leaving no crisis unexploited to promote job-killing cap-tax-and-trade and renewable energy agendas. His June 15 “vision” raised more questions than it answered.

1) The President said he can no longer support new drilling unless industry can prove it will be “absolutely safe.” This avoidable environmental disaster happened because BP, its contractors and MMS regulators did not follow procedures or respond properly to tests and warning signs, indicating critical trouble was brewing downhole. But if “absolute safety” is to decide activities and technologies, America will come to a standstill in the absence of impossible-to-obtain proof that nothing will ever go wrong, no one will ever screw up, and no technology will ever malfunction.

Oil tankers sometimes run aground, unleashing their black cargo on our shores. Will oil imports now be banned, as well? Over 42,000 Americans died in car accidents last year. Will highways and city streets be closed to vehicles? Airports, trains and subways? Wind turbines kill 3,000 eagles and other raptors every year, plus 100,000 to 300,000 other birds and bats. Will they be shut down until that carnage ends?

There is no valid analogy between the Gulf spill and Apollo 13

Harrison H. Schmitt

President Obama’s Administration and its supportive media repeatedly say our 1970 Apollo 13 experience is analogous to the effort to contain and cap the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Not hardly!

The rescue of Astronauts Jim Lovell, Fred Haise and Jack Swigert, after an oxygen tank explosion on their spacecraft, illustrates how complex technical accidents should be handled, in contrast to the Gulf fiasco. Nothing in the government’s response to the blowout and explosion on the Deepwater Horizon and its aftermath bears any resemblance to the response to the Apollo 13 situation by the National Aeronautic and Space Administration and its Mission Control team at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston.

“Failure was not an option” for Gene Kranz and his Apollo 13 flight controllers and engineers. In contrast, failure clearly has been an option for President Obama and those claiming to have been on top of this situation “from day one” in his White House and in the Departments of Interior, Energy and Homeland Security. With no single, competent, courageous and knowledgeable leader in charge of a comparably competent, courageous and knowledgeable team as we had with Apollo 13, the Administration has been doomed to failure from the start. The President, without any experience in real-world management of anything, much less a crisis, has no idea how to deal with a situation as technically complex as the Gulf oil spill.

Whatever may be the culpability of British Petroleum and its federal regulators in causing and dealing with the accident, it has been left to BP engineers and managers and to Gulf State officials to respond as best they can in a regulatory environment that is politically charged, incompetent, fearful and hesitant.

Absolutely no reason exists to assume that any part of the Federal Government has engineering expertise comparable to the petroleum industry that can be applied to this or any future energy-related crisis.  Certainly, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, and Energy Secretary Steven Chu have no more experience in these matters than does the President.
