The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) signed by the leader of Mexico, US and Canada will lead to the North American Union. So far no legislative body in any country has raised a ruckus until now. Canada is calling for the citizens of Canada to make the decision on the SPP.
Connie Fogal, leader of the Canadian Action Party, rejects the idea that the vote on SPP should be taken solely in the Canadian Parliament.
"A decision about the restructuring of Canada into an integrated North America is not a decision for parliament, but for the citizens of Canada," Fogal says. "What every Parliamentarian should do is call for a no confidence vote on this issue to cease unification of Canada, the USA and Mexico, and then run a campaign on the life of Canada not its death."

(This article is based on a report received by the National Association of Chiefs of Police.)
While the battle over providing illegal aliens with driver's licenses rages in state capitals and Washington, DC, North Carolina created the first "North American Union" driver's license, complete with a hologram of the North American continent on the licenses.
The hologram is a facsimile of the map of North America that is used as the background for the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America logo on the SPP website.
Marge Howell, spokeswoman for the North Carolina DMV, told the press that the state was embedding a hologram of North America on the back of their new driver's licenses. "It's a security element that eventually will be on the back of every driver's license in North America," Howell said.
Howell explained the hologram of the North American continent was the creation of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization that, according to the group's website, "develops model programs in motor vehicle administration, law enforcement and highway safety."
Founded in 1933, AAMVA represents state and provincial officials in the United States and Canada who administer and enforce motor vehicle laws. The government of Mexico is also a member, though the individual Mexican states have yet to join.
According to the group's website, AAMVA's programs are designed "to encourage uniformity and reciprocity among the states and provinces."
"The goal is of the North American hologram," Howell explained, "is to get one common element that law enforcement throughout the continent can look at on all driver's licenses and tell that the driver's license is an official document."

In a month, August 20 and 21, the leaders of the United States, Canada, and Mexico will sit down together in Montebello, Quebec to discuss making the borders between these three nations disappear. They will discuss progress on a vast highway project passing through America to link Mexico with Canada.
So far, no one has asked the citizens of these three nations whether they want to do this. It is not up for a vote in Congress and, indeed, Congress has no supervision over the gnomes in the U.S. Department of Commerce who are busily “harmonizing” the laws under the auspices of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP).
This, we’re told, is not a treaty so Congress has no constitutional oversight obligation. I guess it’s more like a nice big handshake between the presidents and prime minister of these three nations who, let’s face it, just know better than the rest of us. I mean, do Canadians really think they’re in charge of Canada? Americans should have a say about programs affecting America? Or has anyone asked Mexicans if they want to be part of some “harmonized” configuration not unlike the European Union?
Last time I checked, the European Union lacked a constitution because some of its member states, notably France, had rejected the one that was offered.

Accuracy in Media has released a new report examining charges that a former Carter Administration official is behind a sinister campaign to create a North American Union that will submerge American sovereignty in a trilateral entity consisting of the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The report is available at www.aim.org
The report was prepared by Cliff Kincaid, editor of Accuracy in Media, who attended a February 16 conference on the subject of developing a North American legal system. Kincaid concludes that the evidence clearly indicates "that a comprehensive process is underway to merge the economies, and perhaps the social and political systems, of the three countries."

Republican Congressman Ron Paul of Texas wrote about the proposed NAFTA Superhighway in one of his weekly columns. Unfortunately, none of the mainstream liberal media made no mention of this illegal agreement made between Mexico, Canada and the united States. The following article is from Rep Ron Paul's weekly column and it shows how dastardly some of the components of our government are working to destroy our country by undermining our sovereignty and our constitution.
By now many Texans have heard about the proposed “NAFTA Superhighway,” which is also referred to as the trans-Texas corridor. What you may not know is the extent to which plans for such a superhighway are moving forward without congressional oversight or media attention.
This superhighway would connect Mexico, the United States, and Canada, cutting a wide swath through the middle of Texas and up through Kansas City. Offshoots would connect the main artery to the west coast, Florida, and northeast. Proponents envision a ten-lane colossus the width of several football fields, with freight and rail lines, fiber-optic cable lines, and oil and natural gas pipelines running alongside.

Modern mass production with interchangeable parts was a good idea in the automobile industry a century ago. But is it a good idea to homogenize national cultures, either in the interests of economic prosperity, or to further the socialist ideal of a one-world government?
Carol Derbis drew my attention to the potential dangers of the proposed North American Union, which aims at making NAFTA into an analog of the European Union, eventually uniting Mexico, Canada, and the United States on political and cultural grounds, as well as on economic policies.
As she writes, we must have full and public Congressional hearings before the proposal goes much further.
Chris Adamo addressed the issue last year, as did Jerome R. Corsi in this article earlier this year.
Those who fear the worst say that President Bush intends to abrogate United States sovereignty. That seems unlikely, but any surrender of our own Constitutional rights to a supranational agency, however limited the surrender, is a very bad policy. Our experience with the UN makes that abundantly clear.
Apart from the huge controversy over illegal immigration from Mexico, there are plenty of other negatives to consider.
Foremost among them is spotlighted by this website's Statement of Purpose:
The View from 1776 presents a framework to understand present-day issues from the viewpoint of the colonists who fought for American independence in 1776 and wrote the Constitution in 1787. Knowing and preserving those understandings, what might be called the unwritten constitution of our nation, is vital to preserving constitutional government. Without them, the bare words of the Constitution are just a Rorschach ink-blot that politicians, educators, and judges can interpret to mean anything they wish.
As relatively little has been elaborated about the North American Union concept in the media, one can only conjecture about the exact intentions and methods. Whatever the specifics of the proposed North American Union, it can be said that it has the potential to promote further cultural disintegration in our nation, which is as lethal a danger as Islamic jihad.
Liberals (and it has to be said that most Republicans as well as Democrats have evident left-leanings) have been educated in our colleges and universities to accept the social sciences view that human beings respond only to material factors. Thirst, hunger, the need for clothing and shelter, and the sexual urges are said to be the ultimately controlling factors in human society.
One has to be oblivious to history, however, to believe that the list of social influences is limited to the atheistic materialism of socialism. Our colonial ancestors were definitely motivated by the economic issues of taxation to issue the Declaration of Independence. But there was a far deeper ethos underlying their action: the centuries old English tradition of inalienable natural- law rights of individuals to be free from the arbitrary exercise of power by the sovereign. Those conceptions grew out of the Judeo- Christian moral traditions that constituted Western Civilization.
Moving in the direction of a political and cultural North American Union is to unwind the very substance of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

Documents produced through the Freedom of Information Act now proves the existence of the fledging North American Union as a "shadow" trilateral government" between Mexico, Canada, and U.S. The U.S. Department of Commerce has had a lead hand inputting this shadow government in place without any congressional oversight.
According to WND columnist and author Jerome R. Corsi:
Among the initial discoveries, said Corsi, is the existence of an internal Intranet website that never has been revealed to Congress or the public.
"This private internal website," he claims, "undoubtedly contains a wealth of documentation that the FOIA request has so far intentionally excluded."
[...] "We have here the beginnings of a whitewash," he said, "in which SPP evidently thinks the public will be hoodwinked by a 'Myths vs. Facts' document posted for public relations purposes on their public website."
[...] "There is no specific authorization for this massive administrative-branch integration with Mexico and Canada other than what amounts to a press conference jointly issued by President Bush, Mexico's President Vicente Fox, and Canada's then-Prime Minister Paul Martin on March 23, 2005, at the end of their summit in Waco, Texas," Corsi said.
Corsi added that even the "Myth vs. Facts" blurb on the SPP.gov website admits the SPP is neither a treaty nor a law. (World Net Daily)
We should pray that Congress takes this threat against our freedoms and sovereignty seriously and puts an end to this illegal "shadow" government.

This weekend, Canadian Action Party/PAC flies the Canadian Flag upside down at their Convention as a sign of distress and resistance against the North American Union
We will be flying the Canadian flag UPSIDE DOWN as a signal of distress and resistance against the integration of Canada with the USA and Mexico into the new entity of a North American Union that media and government pretends is not happening, although the restructuring is almost complete, and is in total violation of citizen constitutional rights.
"The plan is to create the NAU incrementally," Fogal told WND, "because if any of the three governments were up front about their true intentions, the SPP plan would never fly."
Fogel used strong language in expressing to WND the focus of the Canadian Action Party to bring the SPP and NAU to the attention of Canadians.
"The rapid integration of North America into one entity ruled by an unaccountable, unrepresented and unelected group cabal of administrative executive branch officials is treason pure and simple," she said. (Source: WND)
From last year's post, Beware! - North America Continental Integration via SPP:
While most Americans remain unaware, President Bush and top officials in his administration are implementing plans to cancel U.S. sovereignty and form a new “North American Community” that will merge Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. Called the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP), the arrangement calls initially for legalization for millions of Mexican illegal immigrants, practical destruction of any remaining border security, and the transfer of huge amounts of U.S. aid to bring Mexico’s primitive economy more in line with its northern neighbors. The SPP has been jointly agreed to by Canadian Prime Minister Martin, Mexican President Fox, and Mr. Bush.
If this plan is ever implemented, all three signatories will not be in office. Canadian Prime Minister Martin lost his post in last years election as did Mexican President Fox in this year's election. And President Bush would have completed his eight years in office.

I reported in an earlier post last October, Is SSP the Beginning of the End of the United States? and I am amazed of the lack of media attention this evil treaty is getting.
In the March 31, White House press release named the special initiatives of the treaty that expands the authority of the North American Union. The initiatives named are:
- North American Competitiveness Council
- North American Emergency Management
- Avian and Human Pandemic Influenza
- North American Energy Security
- North American Smart, Secure Borders
Human Events did report in July, the formation of the North American Competitiveness Council the first initiative on the list. Again, no other coverage by the liberal news media.
With virtually no mention in the mainstream media, Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez convened on June 15, the first meeting of the North American Competitiveness Council (NACC), an apparently extra-constitutional advisory group organized by the Department of Commerce (DOC) under the auspices of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP). . .
. . . The “SPP Ministers” were not identified. Moreover, the term “Ministers” was an unusual reference to the U.S. government, especially when the founding fathers had taken such pains to rid the U.S. of all terminology that could be reminiscent of monarchical systems such as the British royalty against whom the Revolutionary War was aimed.
The treaty will result in open borders and a loss of identity to the United States as a sovereign nation.

North American Union Plan Evil Exposed
In a post last year, I reported how Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America jointly agreed to by Canadian Prime Minister Martin, Mexican President Fox, and Mr. Bush.
Bush. (Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America )
The good news is:
Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, has taken steps to ensure the Senate will not act on a bill that would further a plan to create a European Union-style alliance in North America. (www.wnd.com)
The plan was taken directly from American University Professor Robert Pastor's plan to create a "North American Union in his 2001 book "Toward a North American Community." It calls for a North American Development Fund that would advance the "North American integration" needed to produce the union as a regional super-government along the model of the European Union.
We would lose control of our boarders and our sovereignty as a free Republic.
This is not what our Founding Fathers envisioned in 1776.
