"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt.  People must again learn to work instead of living on public assistance." – - Cicero - 55 BC Rome

We are back to square one.

The Federal Reserve announced last Wednesday that it would be buying 600 billion dollars of US Bonds (the USA debt), which it once said they would never do. And to doing that that they will be printing and adding more money in circulation, causing the value of the dollar to considerable to decrease in value which can lead to hyperinflation. And since we no longer are on the gold standard, severe financial  trouble could follow. And it appears the Chinese no longer want to buy our bonds because we now are a financial risk.

Following World War I, the Wiemar Republic (Germany) was in the same boat as us. They were off the gold standard and printed more money in 1922 to help pay war debts. The German mark quickly devalued. By November 1, 1923, a pound of bread cost 3  billion marks, a pound of meat cost 36 million marks and a glass of beer cost 4 billion

The National Inflation Association yesterday (http://inflation.us/foodpriceprojections.html), projects that at the average U.S. grocery store it will soon cost $11.43 for one ear of corn, $23.05 for a 24 oz loaf of wheat bread, $62.21 for a 32 oz package of Domino Granulated Sugar, $24.31 for a 32 fl oz container of soy milk, $77.71 for a 11.30 oz container of Folgers Classic Roast Coffee, $45.71 for a 64 fl oz container of Minute Maid Orange Juice, and $15.50 for a Hershey's Milk Chocolate 1.55 oz candy bar. NIA also projects that by the end of this decade, a plain white men's cotton t-shirt at Wal-Mart will cost $55.57.

Will we end up like the Wiemar Republic?

We have been advocating for years that if the American people would just focus on ONE ISSUE that is representative of the destruction of America by this Administration and Congress, and they did so by the millions, that issue would be resolved in days.

The federal government is spending $62 million on a tunnel to nowhere in Pittsburgh, Pa., $89,000 on a sidewalk that leads to a ditch in Boynton, Okla., and almost $200,000 to study voter perception of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (stimulus) from which these other projects are funded.

The mass media’s way of communicating war is basically to put fake tough-guy narcissists on your TV screen speaking to the equivalent of a pre-oedipal 2 year old:  “There are scary people out there…you need to be terrified…heroic saviors will attack and destroy their bad countries for you so you can maintain your mental fantasy that you’re safe.  All you need to do is keep shopping, buying your little toys, while daddy keeps you safe.”  You can already see psychology and spirituality issues in that dialogue.  But what about economics?  One of the Council on Renewal’s tenets is that we currently live in a world where economics reigns supreme over every other dimension of life, including spirituality and psychology.

The latest outrage from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has our dithering president demanding that Republicans restore unemployment benefits.

The executive departments of our federal government read like an alphabet soup of bureaucracies entwining and entangling themselves into every area of our lives. The litany of “on-the-books” divisions and subdivisions does not even count the unaccountable czars, advisors and otherwise nebulous bureaucrats whose only business it is to annoy the American people and to demand of us affiliation and information to which they have no constitutional authority.

There are ten planks in the Communist Manifesto and it will come as no surprise to anyone to discover that they are being implemented by the Obama administration in league with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

After Clinton appointed Judge Susan Bolton ruled Wednesday that—for all intents and purposes—Arizona does not have the right to protect itself or its citizens from invading drug cartels and the illegal foreign hordes that are bleeding it dry of its resources, it should have become apparent to even the dimmest that We-the-People no longer exist. We are now living under a tyranny developed, directed, implemented and enforced by the Marxists in power.
