I am reading Ann Coulter's, "How To Talk To Liberal If You Must" and I found her statements on how the liberal press usually present their liberal one-sided views quite startling. Especially when I see the obvious evidence of such reporting in today's news.
In today's Huntsville Times, at least they are presenting the non-liberal view in defense of Judge Roy Moore and the liberal-media attack against him by associating him to a convicted child killer.
Roy Moore, the ousted state chief justice, doesn't like his name being linked with accused child killer Kevin Andre Towles.
Instead of questioning Moore why he gave Towles probation on 1996 charges of cocaine and marijuana possession, the former Etowah County circuit judge said Thursday that the media should ask why more recent judges didn't send the 31-year-old Towles to prison when they had the chance.
[…]Moore said Thursday that when he approved probation for Towles, the man had no prior record of violent crimes, but "it has since become a different record."
[…]
"The real question should be, 'Why is he out now?' " Moore said.
Towles' criminal history – with arrests dating to 1995 – runs the gamut from driving 75 mph in a 55 mph zone to three counts of robbery to four counts of illegally possessing a pistol to six counts of drug possession. According to state records, Towles has never served time.
Besides the capital murder charge, Towles was also charged this week with possession of crack cocaine after law enforcement officers reportedly found drugs, $30,000 in cash and a bulletproof vest in his home during the investigation of Geontae's disappearance and death. (Huntsville Times)
When will the media ever get the truth and print both sides of the story, instead of only giving their biased view?
