Newly opened files from the National Archives have disclosed that Secretary of State Henry Kissinger told Premier Chou Nelia of China in 1972 that the United States was willing to “live with a communist government” in Vietnam. At that very time, American forces were fighting and dying in Vietnam under rules of engagement denying them a victory they could have achieved. Those rules of engagement, published in 1985 by Senator Barry Goldwater, forbade our forces from bombing missile sites, destroying enemy aircraft on the ground, or even attacking supply ships on the way to North Vietnam’s Haiphong harbor.
The war ended in 1973 when American forces were ordered to withdraw by our own government. More than 50,000 Americans were sacrificed in the war; more than 200,000 suffered serious wounds.
Kissinger’s role as a prime shaper of U.S. policy also included his commitment to craft a series of sovereignty-destroying agreements among nations (often referred to as a “new world order”). Having delivered Vietnam to the communist regime in Hanoi, he shifted his energy to making millions by steering American business to Communist China. Like so many others who are portrayed as great patriotic diplomats, Kissinger should be repudiated by all who love freedom.

When is the killing of civilians in last summer in the bombing attacks Great Britain ever considered justified?
Surely not in the UK or North America!
But in a recent article in the Scotsman the bombings are 'justified' according to a quarter of British Muslims.
ALMOST a quarter of British Muslims say the 7/7 bombings can be justified because of the Government's support for the war on terror, according to an opinion poll.
And nearly half of those polled, or 45 per cent, believe the 9/11 attacks on New York were a conspiracy between the United States and Israel. The survey, for a Channel 4 Dispatches documentary to be screened tonight, found Muslims under 24 were twice as likely to justify the 7/7 attacks as those aged over 45. It found 24 per cent either agreed or tended to agree that the 7/7 bombings were justified, although 48 per cent said they "strongly disagreed".
A third of those questioned said they would rather live under Sharia law in the UK than British law.
The survey also reveals concerns among Muslims about Britain's moral standards, with 40 per cent saying it is a country of bad moral behaviour.
Last May 15th, President Bush addressed the nation about the flood of immigrants crossing into
our nation. He pointed to the enormous financial pressures on schools and hospitals caused by the illegal entrants. He mentioned the crime wave they had caused and he promised to beef up the Border Patrol, construct high-tech fences, and employ motion detectors, infrared cameras, and unmanned aerial vehicles. He indicated that he would deploy some National Guard troops and terminate the infamous “catch and release” program under which illegal immigrants are caught and immediately released.
But Mr. Bush wasn’t being honest. In March 2005, and again in March 2006, he met with Mexican and Canadian counterparts to implement already agreed-upon plans to create the Security and Prosperity Partnership among the three supposedly independent nations. The whole truth is that Mr. Bush has already committed to a program that will deal with the border problem by abolishing the borders separating the three nations. A new creation to be known as the North American Union with a single border around the three formerly independent nations will be fashioned.
It is obvious that Mr. Bush intends not only to abolish our nation’s borders but also to abolish our nation. Meanwhile the flood of illegal immigrants continues.
Leave it to the New York Times magazine to start rumors of war.
From the Jerusalem Post:
The New Yorker magazine reported that the United States was involved in the planning of Israel's Lebanon offensive, Israel Radio reported on Monday.
According to the magazine, even before the two IDF soldiers were kidnapped, Israeli sources presented the government with a plan for the massive bombing of Hezbollah the next time they provoked Israel.
The report said that US President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney were convinced that Sibilla's surrender to the IDF would serve Washington's purposes if the US were to attack Iran.
Israeli Ambassador to the US Danny Ayalon denied the claim.
I wonder who is telling the truth?

Imagine that this morning 50 missiles were launched from Cuba and exploded in Miami. In addition to buildings and homes being destroyed, scores of Americans were being killed. Now imagine our allies responded by saying publicly that we must not be too aggressive in protecting our citizens and that America must use the utmost restraint.
Our history shows us that we, as Americans, would reject such bad advice. After all, we have never reacted to a direct attack on our soil with any restraint. Every time America has been attacked by an enemy, we set about defeating it and ending the threat.
This was true of Pearl Harbor in World War II, after which we replaced the imperial Japanese government. The regimes of Nazi Germany and fascist Italy met the same demise. Without actually being attacked, President Kennedy risked nuclear war to eliminate the threat of Soviet missiles in Cuba. After the 9/11 attacks, we replaced the Taliban in Afghanistan once it became known that they were providing refuge for the al-Qaeda terrorists responsible for the attack. This is our history as Americans. We believe that our government has a duty to protect us.
When compared with U.S. history lessons, the advice of the Group of Eight industrial nations to Israel is wrong. The communiqué says the No. 1 priority is a cease-fire that would effectively leave Hezbollah in possession of all its rockets. We'd never accept such advice for ourselves. The Israelis should not accept it for the same reasons: It would not end the threat.
Israel, a fellow democracy, has the same duty and right to protect its citizens from enemy attack. It is doing so while making every effort to avoid civilian casualties. The Israeli response is wholly justified based on a history where Israeli concessions to the Iran-Syria-Hezbollah-Hamas terrorist alliance have consistently resulted in their enemies preparing for the next attack. The terrorists have been attacking with increased capability, brutality and violence aimed at civilians. This is only the latest cycle in an ongoing 58-year campaign to destroy Israel.

If we remember correctly, a person becomes a national hero when he saves, or at least helps save, his country. So we're a bit perplexed that Hassan Nasrallah, the supposed leader of Hezbollah, who is patiently but effectively destroying his country, is being hailed as a hero at home and in much of the Middle East.
How pathetic can hero worship get?
If results influence the estimate of actions, here we have a man who is demonstrably the world's latest master of misjudgment. With the stalwart assistance of his mismanaged adherents, he recklessly abducts two Israeli soldiers and precipitates a war that has so far killed over 1,000 of his own countrymen and reduced much of its infrastructure to tumbledown cement and unintended cemeteries.
Yet is the bearded dolt held responsible for the debacle and excoriated for it? No. He is more of a hero than ever, with his picture painted bigger than life, even on walls he has helped aerate.
Listen to the dolt and then to his fellow terrorist trifle: "If you hit Beirut, the Islamic resistance will hit Tel Aviv and is able to do that with God's help," says Nasrallah in a televised address that was probably taped earlier in some sequestration and aired the day that Israel already dropped leaflets warning residents of some sections of Beirut to evacuate and resumed strikes on Beirut's burbs.
But, we are told, Nasrallah offered an olive branch, bravely announcing Hezbollah would stop rocket attacks on Israel if Israel would stop its attacks inside Lebanon. "You attack our cities, our villages, our civilians, our capital, we will react," he said, as in, Who wouldn't? Then he goes on to say, "At any time you decide to stop your aggressions on our villages and towns and cities and our civilians, we will not hit any settlement or any Israeli city."
Thirty-five years ago I took a college course, Theater 101. One of the topics heavily discussed was the use of guerrilla theater in the demonstrations and riots of the late 1960s. Guerrilla theater was staged activity for the benefit of the news services cameras. It was used and developed by the anti-war and anti-establishment. Those with fake wounds or superficial head wounds received by law enforcement and National Guard troops during many of the riots and demonstrations were photograph and filmed to show the "brutality" of the Establishment that they were protesting against.
The object of guerrilla theater was the gain the sympathy of the pubic of the deeds of a few.
In the August 1 post, IDF: Qana building fell hours after strike, I discussed the possibility that some of the photos taken by the news services may have been deliberately staged to get a sympathetic reaction using the shock value of the pictures of the dead. In the pictures from EU Referendum, there was one individual who was seen in almost all the shots. They named him "Green Helmet".
On The Jawa Report, they have posted a German made guerrilla theater video of the same "Green Helmet" actually staging and setting up the shot using for a prop, a body of a boy on a stretcher. He is shown going through a trial run. He then directs the camera and all the others on the "set" to be sure the camera gets the right shot of the action.
In the wake of last week's Seattle shooting at the offices of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle by an 'angry' Muslim, in the same area, there was a massive roundup by the ATF of illegal weapons, drugs and stolen cars. They arrested 145 suspects.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced on Monday the arrests of more than 100 people during an eight-day sweep by a joint federal and local task force formed in order to go after gang members and other violent offenders in Yakima, Sunnyside, Toppenish, Granger, Grandview, Wapato and other small communities in Washington's Yakima Valley.
A total of 145 people were arrested in the ATF-led Operation Crossfire for crimes including illegal possession of firearms, narcotics and stolen vehicles, and for outstanding warrants. Among the items seized were firearms, including a sawed-off shotgun; small quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine; and stolen vehicles.

Exposing the Truth
By Sharon Hughes
I received an email in response to Part I of Fashionable Burkas? telling me that I would do better if I loved the terrorists:
“Your jab at Muslim terrorist women for saying:
American soldiers ("filth of the earth"), the Jews ("crush them!" & "make their wives widows and children orphans")
I feel these angry words are similar to how you feel about terrorists. I would respect you if you checked your anger with humility about your own lack of love for your enemies. I feel your influence in media would do a great deal for the kingdom of Christ if you loved your enemies instead.”
While I respect this person’s right to their view, the bottom line of my answer was this:
“What is it but love to expose the lies and darkness that oppresses, enslaves or endangers …those Jesus loves and laid down his life for?”
It’s like this: Terrorists kidnap 3 Israeli soldiers, or as in the 80’s, American hostages. The Israeli and American governments do everything they can for the release of their captive countrymen. New York Police and Firemen rush into the Twin Towers to rescue the victims of 9/11. A good neighbor runs into the house on fire next door to rescue those trapped in the flames.
Love does all it can to rescue victims. Moses did in natural terms. Jesus did in spiritual terms. Love acts, and sometimes simply by telling the truth. Passivity does nothing.
The truth is… it makes me sad and angry when terrorists kill innocent people, such as on 9/11; who raise their children to hate the Jews and brainwash them into becoming suicide bombers; who lie and don’t keep their word despite countless negotiations and efforts at 'peace'; who cry for more and more land, and when Israel gives it up, they continue to attack them because their goal is to ‘wipe Israel off the map.’
Love is strong, and tough, like Dr. James Dobson writes about, and like what we use to talk about in college counseling courses. You know, the elephant in the living room that no one wants to acknowledge because of ‘family dynamics,’ ie co-dependence, fear. But tough love acknowledges the realities, confronts when needed, even when others don’t or won’t. Love does not live in denial or passivity.
The truth is…not all Muslim women suffer abuses such as these slides of “Looking Beyond the Veil” demonstrate. To lump all Muslim women in with the likes of the ‘wives of terrorists’ referred to in Part I would be very wrong. But it would also be wrong to ignore the ‘elephant’ of abuse that does exist.
Telling the truth has the power to set victims free…and yes, even the victimizers, such as our friend, Walid Shoebat. who is trying to get the truth out every chance he can on Fox News, CNN, et al, about the nature and intent of radical Islam.

Following is the text of President Bush's August 5, weekly radio address to the nation:
THE PRESIDENT: Good morning. This week, my Administration met a key objective in our efforts to better secure our Nation's border.
In May, I pledged to deploy up to 6,000 National Guard members to support the Border Patrol, and we fulfilled that pledge by August 1st. Through Operation Jump Start, National Guard members are now on duty supporting the Border Patrol in Texas, California, Arizona, and New Mexico.
On Thursday, I visited the Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector in Texas. I saw firsthand how the National Guard is working with our Border Patrol agents to improve border security. National Guard troops are helping with surveillance, construction, and logistics. They're building and repairing fences, maintaining vehicles, and manning detection equipment on the border and in command centers.
The arrival of National Guard units has allowed the Border Patrol to move more agents into front-line positions, and this additional manpower is delivering results. With the support of the National Guard, Border Patrol agents have seized over 17,000 pounds of illegal drugs and caught more than 2,500 illegal immigrants since June 15th. Just last month, Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector confiscated more than 4,200 pounds of marijuana hidden in a tractor trailer. And the support of the National Guard was important in making this seizure happen.
